The mission, aim, goal and purpose of the Patrick Gardens Church of Christ, as is every true Church of Christ, is in keeping with the mission, purpose and goal of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior is to “seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). The Church, being the body of Jesus Christ, was left here to carry out and carry on the will and purpose of Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church (Eph 1:22-23); (3:9-11).
Being aware of the religious and doctrinal confusion, perplexities and falsehood being faced by sincere men and women seeking Christ’s everlasting truth (John 8:32), today we set out, with the help of GOD and the guidance of his word, to present to you the pure and naked gospel of Jesus Christ, called and identified by inspiration as “the whole counsel of GOD” (Acts 20:27), and “the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). To secure peace and fellowship with GOD through Jesus Christ, we are warned that neither angels, men, or religious institutions, have any right or authority to add, take away or interfere with the gospel of Jesus Christ (Gal 1:7-9).
By studying with us on this website, as you seek Christ everlasting truth, you will come to understand why Jesus Christ refers to human interference of the gospel as “leaven” (Matt 16:6,12). Christ would have you understand that no human interference with his word is trivial or innocent; in the very same way that a little leaven(baking power) affects the whole dough, so it is with human tradition, opinions and ideas; they affect and contaminate the gospel of Christ and endanger our souls (Matt 15:9,13-14 and Gal 1:7).
May the Almighty GOD through Jesus Christ guide and help you to learn and understand that, we cannot be saved by the perverted gospel, but by the simple, unadulterated truth of Jesus Christ (John 8:32).
The church of Christ bringing you these truth, and the church of Christ in your community, stands ready to meet with you and to help you.
